In the fall of 2002, the Museum launched a new giving program to support its acquisition, endowment, and operating programs. The Collectors' Circle is an annual $10,000 or more top-level giving tier for individuals, businesses, or foundations. The Circle is part of the Museum's new annual giving program. Members are recognized on a special Collectors' Circle Wall at the Museum that features large glass plaques with their names inscribed for each year they are members. (Membership years are defined as January 1 through December 31.) Members attend a yearly dinner during which they have the opportunity to choose a work of art to add to the Museum's permanent collection. The chosen piece's credit line is attributed to that year's Collectors' Circle members. Collectors' Circle members receive the following benefits in addition to the standard benefits of membership:
