TEACHER-LED STUDENT TOURS
Teachers are always welcome to bring their students to give their own tour during Museum hours, however we request that there be at least 1 adult for every 10 students. We recommend that you call in advance to schedule your visit (903-595-1001). Some exhibitions require an entrance fee; discounts are available for groups of 25 or more.
TMA/TISD SCHOOL TOUR PROGRAM
This special partnership, begun in 1976 between the Tyler Museum of Art and the Tyler Independent School District, enables all students from two elementary grade levels to come to the Museum for a tour and an exhibition-related art activity. During the school year, all students in TISD will have the opportunity to participate.
If your school or district is interested in arranging a similar type of program, please contact the Education Department.

ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL ART EXHIBITION
In the spring, the TMA announces it's annual High School Art Exhibition, a juried exhibition of original works by local high school art students. The works are originally selected for entry into the exhibition by the students’ teachers. Prior to the opening of the exhibition, the pieces are judged by a panel of jurors selected by the TMA curatorial staff from local college art departments. The aim of the exhibition is to give local high school students the opportunity to participate in a professional art exhibition in a museum setting. For more information on how you may become involved, please contact the Education Department.
