The TMA is proud to offer a variety of educational services to teachers & schools!
The Tyler Museum of Art is pleased to announce that financial support has been made available to assist schools with the cost of field trips to the Museum. The TMA received a generous grant from a local foundation to support the 2012-2013 School Tour Program by partially or fully funding round-trip bus transportation costs (via district or school buses or private bus companies). The grant will also cover fees for school tours, which are available for all class levels elementary through college, and include a guided tour by a Museum docent for the younger students and an art activity.

TEACHER-LED STUDENT TOURS
Teachers are welcome to bring their students for their own tour during Museum hours, however we request that there be at least 1 adult for every 10 students. We recommend that you call in advance to schedule your visit (903-595-1001). Some exhibitions require an entrance fee; discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL ART EXHIBITION
Each year the TMA puts on an annual High School Art Exhibition, a juried exhibition of original works by local high school art students. The works are originally selected for entry into the exhibition by the students’ teachers. Prior to the opening of the exhibition, the pieces are judged by a panel of jurors selected by the TMA curatorial staff from local artists and college art departments. The aim of the exhibition is to give local high school students the opportunity to participate in a professional art exhibition in a museum setting. For more information on how you may become involved, please contact the Education Department.
The TMA is pleased to offer teachers free of charge:
